God is the Foundation for my Life

Walk this Way

Whether you turn to the right or to the left your ears will hear a voice right behind you saying, " this is the way walk in it."
God does give us his direction, we only have to listen.

Speak Up

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
This became so true for me when I lost five people in my family in less than two years.  I thought the grief would never pass.  But, somewhere in my heart I felt God's presence, his love, and I knew he was close to me in all that grief.  I knew this, I believe this.

God Bless America

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.  Seek peace and pursue it.

Love

But His anger last only a moment, but His love last a  lifetime.

Prayer

May integrity and uprightness protect me because my hope is in you. For in the day of trouble God will keep me safe. Hear my voice when I call, O Lord: be merciful to me and answer me.
You have been my helper always. Teach me your way, O Lord, cause my way has not been productive nor prosperous.

God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you.
He sought his God and worked wholeheartedly and so he prospered.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because with us is the Lord to help us and to fight our battles.
You are my Lord, apart from you I have no good thing.

Focus on God and not the Problem

Do not be Discouraged

For I have no power to face this vast heartache that is attacking me. I do not know what to do, but my eyes are upon you Lord.  Do not be discourage, do not be afraid.  Go face tomorrow and God will be with you. Have faith in the Lord and you will be upheld.

Encouragement

"Success, success to you and success to those who help you, for your God will help you."

I remember this from the bible every time I start a new project.  It really gives me the encouragement I need to yes, succeed.

"Let your hand be with me and keep me form harm so that I will be free from pain."
Yes, free from the pain of hurt, disappointments, grief, temptation, sorrow, lies, etc.
There are all kinds of pain in this world but, in God's hand is the comfort.

Love comes in all Sizes

 "I have heard your prayer and seen your tears: I will heal you, on the third from now."

 

I was very sick at one point in my life.  I was in bed crying out to God to please help me and heal me. I opened my bible and that is what I read.  And yes, three days later I was better.  I really realized that God did hear me, he saw my tears and heard my prayer.

"First seek the counsel of the Lord"

 

To remember to do this when making decisions has really helped me find peace when making any decisions in my life.  It is nice to know that I can rely on God's wisdom to help me.

May the Lord uphold our causes according to each days needs.

 

One day at a time. Give us this day our daily bread.

Give attention to my prayer O Lord my God. Hear the prayer I am praying in your presence this day. May your eyes be open night and day to my prayers. Hear the prayers of your people when they pray. Hear from heaven, your dwelling place, and when you hear, forgive.  Amen.

Trouble

"The Lord who has delivered me out of every trouble."

 

I can often think back over my life and remember how I was in trouble in so many areas.  Yet, God was there and God saw me through.  I remember writing in my journal at the time this, Lord, I thank you for all the problems in my life, for each one brought me closer to you. I would not change anything in my life as I might not of found my way to you."  I still stand by that today.  Thank you my God.

Gratitude in Affliction

Psalms 119:65-72

At Thanksgiving, we typically express gratitude for God's blessings. But did you ever consider thanking Him for something that doesn't seem like a blessing—such as a trying circumstance you want Him to remove or change? A grateful heart is most precious to God when, humanly speaking, our situations don't warrant giving thanks. By making four foundational decisions, we can begin to see the value of our adversities and respond with appreciation.    

Believe and trust the Lord. Only by viewing life from a scriptural perspective can we understand His purposes in our trials and trust His wisdom in allowing them.

Accept the situation as coming from God—either directly sent or permissively allowed. If we truly believe He's working for our good (Rom 8:28-29), we can choose to receive each difficulty as coming from His loving hand. Then we can say "Thank You."

Submit to God in the circumstance. Although we may not like the situation, knowing that God "[is] good and does good" (v. 68) allows us to confidently place our lives under His authority.

Draw from Him the strength to endure. No one has the ability within himself to endure hardships with gratefulness. Only by relying on the Lord can believers go through adversity with an appreciative heart.

Now, think about that circumstance you would like changed, and with a new mindset, offer this prayer to God: "Lord, I accept this situation as coming from You. In faith and trust, I place myself under Your loving authority, and draw from You the strength I need to endure with gratitude."

Today keep a smile on your face, a song in your heart and dance your way through life.

Every road leads back to God at some point

It is so easy to stand up and stand strong against or for anything when once you kneel before God.

Hope

Hope what an important part of life.  Hope can always be ignited by words of encouragement.  Today as far as it depends on you, encourage some one.  Give praise and thanks to someone who is important in your life.  Give thanks.

God's Prayer

" Long life to you! Good health to you and your household! And good health to all that is yours!

Remember to be Kind

" For the Lord is God In heaven above and on the earth below." The Lord will show kindness to my family, because I have shown kindness."

How great is that show kindness in our daily life's and God takes notice and continues to show kindness to us and our family. Kind of a great promise I think.

During the storms of life, God is still there

God's Love

"No one will be able to stand up against you." "I will never leave you or forsake you."     God is stronger than any problem or situation or temptation. When I read no one will be able to stand up against you, I also think no problem will be able to prevail against me.

Today is precious

"See, I set before you today life and prosperity."

"Do not be fainthearted or afraid: do not be terrified or give way to panic. For the Lord is the one who goes with you to give you victory."

I any given time of loss or sickness, do not be afraid, God will be with you and you can have victory.
See you all ready healed, or safe, picture yourself holding God's hand.  Reach up to God and he will reach down to you.

Work

"The Lord will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to."

Thank you Lord, for giving us all work, for giving us a chance to support ourselves and our families.
I know I need your blessings and I ask you bless all that read this blog.

God is watching

" The eyes of the Lord are continually on the world from the beginning of the year to its end."

We are never out of God's loving sight.  Good to know.

Love is God's Answer

"Love the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." "Do what is right and good in the Lord's eyes."

How easy is that to love the Lord and to do good in the Lord's eyes.  If we all practiced that I wonder if the world would become a kinder, more loving place to live.

Mercy

" If you seek the Lord you will find him, if you look for him with all your heart and all your soul." "When you are in distress, return to the Lord in prayer and I will hear you." "For the Lord is a merciful God."

Justice

"Do not be afraid of any man, for judgment belongs to God. Bring me any case and I will hear it."

Justice still does and always will belongs to God.

Prayer

"The Lordbless you and keep you: the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you: the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."

Promises - Promises

" I will grant you peace and no one will make you afraid." I will look upon you with favor and make you fruitful."

Another great promise from God. 

Guardian Angel

"See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way." Pay attention to him and listen to what he says, since my name is in him."My angel will go ahead of you."

I don't know but I take this to mean God has appointed a very special Guardian angel to guide me along my path of life.  Kind of a nice reassurance to believe this.  At least for me it is.

" Do not be afraid, stand firm and see the help the Lord will bring you today." "The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still." Be still and know that I am the Lord." "This battle is not yours."

Whenever, I feel I am fighting a losing battle, whether, it is losing weight, finances, relationship, etc., I know these battles are not mine alone.  I trust that God will see me through, in his timing, with his wisdom, and for my highest good. Yes, it is good to sometimes just "be still."

Thank God that He knows the troubles of my soul and cares for me to always be with me.

Bless Me

Taking God at His word.

I am the Lord, I will bless you. Do not be afraid, for I am with you, I will bless you.

I take God at His word, how about you?

Actions do speak louder than words.

Your actions speak so loud, that I can't hear what you are saying.

Let your actions be your words.  People will show you who they are believe them.

Just wondering how many times we take the time to just look up.  It always amazes me how end less, how vast, how beyond my understanding that there is no end.  We are not limited, we can be as big, and as great as we believe that we are.  Today look up and know the sky is the limit. Replace Fear with Faith

If you have faith as small as a mustard seed you can move a mountain.  Perfect love cast out fear.  Faith and Love living together within the soul does not leave any room for fear.  Live your live free from the feeling of fear.  Fear of the unknown, fear of tomorrow, fear of lack of finances, fear of being alone.  Gee, we could go on and on.  Begin replacing that feeling of fear with love, and a strong sense of self and faith. Have you Ever

Have you ever been inspired to reach beyond your wildest dreams?  Have you ever thought about how much you could achieve by just believing in yourself and of those around you?  Have you ever just once made that decision to live your life with faith and love?  Have you ever just said, " I will finish what I start, I will go back to school, find that job that makes me happier, hug my children more, kiss my family, enjoy more dinners together, spend time laughing and watching movies together?"  Have you ever looked in your mirror of life and really looked at who is looking back at you?  What do you see when you look deep into your own eyes?  I hope you see a life that has been  worthwhile, a few regrets, perhaps, but for the most part a life well lived knowing you are leaving the most valuable gift behind, that of your faith in action.

Just Make A Plan

If you always keep doing things the same old way, you will get the same old result. A result that is not bringing you the prosperity and success you are deserving of. It is time to change direction but just what should that direction be? It begins by learning to plan your now, "unplanned life", with intention. Do you wake up each morning with specific goals in mind to be accomplished by day's end? What are your long term objectives? Today take the time to ask yourself "where are you going with your life and how will you get there."

Contentment

Choose to give all your anxieties to God in exchange for peace of mind, heart and soul that surpasses all human comprehension. Contentment is not dependent upon our circumstances but only upon our faith.

Standing Tall

We have all heard about putting your best foot forward when meeting anyone. As much as that is true it is also about a winning spirit. The team player, the one who compliments, and enters the room with confidence and an award winning smile. You will be surprised just how much the standing tall, shoulders back, head up and a smile on the face can do. Try it next time you enter a room and watch the reactions.

Hey Wake UP

Good Morning to you all ! Wake up, feel alive, sing a song, dance, get excited about your day, your life. Know that God will bring you new opportunities to accommoplish your dreams. Come on now, get up, get going, be joyful today. Wear your smile it is the best fashion statement and goes everywhere with class and style.

SOMEONE LOVE ME, YES ME

Gosh, how lucky am I, a warm place to sleep, toys, food, and most of all someone who really loves me. I wish for all to have this blessing of love.  Bella
